Bonjour and welcome!
My name is Jennifer, a quilter based in central Washington state. This site is dedicated to my love of both quilting and music and the story behind every quilt I make. My practice involves both improvisational and traditional quilts and I am also interested in natural dyes, repurposed fabric and using all of the scraps. My passion is to design intuitively, what I refer to as “quilting from the gut”. Forewarning: I am not a perfectionist, as you will see here. Quilting is supposed to be fun, folks!
Music is a huge part of my life: I pick out my music for the day like most people pick out clothes and believe that life is infinitely better with music playing. My tastes are genre defying and I am fascinated by how the music I listen to impacts my design process.
